We are seeking a Manager, Municipal Infrastructure to lead our municipal engineering team in the Markham, Ontario office. As a seasoned professional within the consulting industry, your name is synonymous with service excellence.   • Management of the municipal infrastructure team, including the mentorship and development of the engineers within the team
  • Design oversight, project management and business development
  • Project evaluation/viability, implementation/procurement strategy, engineering, expert input, management, and audits
  • Lead and coordinate design teams for your region in conjunction with other corporate offices
  • Prepare contract specifications by writing design specifications, preparation of reports, proposals, and other documentation for clients, review agencies, and the public
  • Assign, direct, and review work undertaken by technical staff to ensure that studies and projects are completed to a high degree of accuracy
  • Project administration responsibilities including financial management
  • Client relations
  • Assist with staff development, and provide input and recommendations relative to staff needs
  • An individual who is a leader, outgoing and with excellent sales and marketing abilities


  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada with minimum 15 years of experience in the municipal engineering sector or in a consulting engineering environment
  • Experience in designing municipal and related infrastructure including rehabilitation and upgrading of existing of local roads, sidewalks, sewers and water mains
  • Experience in construction and contract administration
  • Prior experience liaising directly with local municipalities and other approval agencies within the GTA will be an asset
  • Proven ability and a strong desire to develop new business and maintain existing business relationships
  • Experience in leading teams of technical specialists and professional engineers
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Experience in municipal and environmental approval process
