​Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Services Systems Manager will provide guidance and support to the Financial Services team in the effective application of enterprise financial tools, and will foster an environment conducive to effective data mining and analysis activities. As a dual role, the candidate will partner with the VP of IT & IM to consult with stakeholders regarding the current technology environment, and provide leadership and support during ERP evaluation and implementation. The ideal candidate would have an extensive background in financial systems analysis and operation in a mid-sized or large enterprise environment. This position is based in our Markham office.

Business Focus

  • Interface with financial staff to facilitate improvements to business processes via appropriate application of technology
  • Extract insights from financial data to assist financial services staff
  • Engage with vendors to support financial systems strategy recommendations
  • Participate in ERP selection, implementation, and management
  • Participate in the organizational business intelligence planning team 


  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to the appropriate configuration, use, and maintenance of financial systems
  • Participate in audits related to operation and use of financial systems 


  • Provide data extracts and imports
  • Maintain the financial data custom report library
  • Perform scripting to automate repetitive tasks
  • Monitor system performance and identifies and resolves system problems
  • Monitor and tests system backups
  • Coordinate with technology team for maintenance and upgrades
  • Interface with vendors for maintenance and upgrades
  • Review and recommends configuration and performance enhancements
  • Provide training for technical and non-technical staff


  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows technologies including Windows Server, SQL Server, and SSRS
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems including Cognos, BST Global, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and Workday
  • Significant experience with enterprise financial systems
  • Formal accounting and/or technology education
