We are currently looking for an Intern/Co-op (full time temporary position) to join our team of engineers, architects, technologists and construction trade specialists in our Victoria office.

  • Undertake field review of both new construction and rehabilitation projects to confirm that the construction of the building envelope assemblies is proceeding in accordance with approved mock-ups and design documents
  • Undertake field testing of selected elements of building envelope assemblies to confirm compliance with specified performance standards (primarily water infiltration and air leakage) and prepare reports outlining results of these tests
  • Interface with architects, general contractors and sub-trades
  • Review submittals from sub-trades
  • Assist in field work associated with assessment of existing buildings and the preparation of building envelope assessment reports
  • Assist with miscellaneous duties as needed to support the operation and administration of the office and team


  • 0 - 2 years of building science / building engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) is critical
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit an asset
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with the ability to effectively prioritize
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a strong customer service commitment
  • Strong relationship/interpersonal skills required
  • Construction review experience a plus
  • Valid British Columbia driver’s license and access to a vehicle
