Morrison Hershfield is a leading provider of engineering, planning, environmental services and sustainable design, and we have a wide range of federal, provincial, municipal and private clients. We provide practical environmental solutions for interesting and complex projects. The successful candidate will work under a senior aquatic / fisheries biologist and will develop a thorough understanding of key legislation in relation to a variety of projects typically related to construction, infrastructure, and transportation. You must be willing to be readily available to conduct field work with Morrison Hershfield's senior biologists, both locally and throughout Ontario, often on short notice (all travel expenses will be paid and field training provided). You must also be willing to occasionally work long hours, sometimes in inclement weather. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be adaptable to quickly changing priorities, and have a willingness to take on challenges.
